Volunteer Information
Get Involved
Volunteers play a crucial role in making the Wide Open a success. From spotting and course improvements, to parking and crowd control, volunteers help ensure that all competitors and spectators have a great experience.
Without volunteers, the tournament would not be able to take place, as there simply isn’t enough staff to handle all of the various tasks required to make the event run smoothly. By participating as a volunteer, you can get up close and personal with the action, meet new people, and be a part of a great community.
Volunteering at the 43rd Annual Kansas City Wide Open is also a great way to give back to the disc golf community and support the sport you love. So if you’re passionate about disc golf and looking for a way to get involved, we encourage you to sign up as a volunteer today!
This is your chance to join the Wide Open team and make a difference! The 43rd Annual Kansas City Wide Open will require the help of over 100 volunteers throughout this event. Be a part of the action while making a positive impact on the tournament. All volunteers will be provided with meals and special staff swag!
At this time we are establishing volunteer staff for the Disc Golf Pro Tour event that takes place April 18-20 at Bad Rock Creek. We will establish a separate team of volunteer staff in the upcoming months for the DGMT A-Tier KCWO event that takes place August 29-31.
Contact Tina Patterson for more information about how you can get involved.
